Healing Through Words Vision:

To have an outlet for community by bringing back an art form that is so prevalent to African People.  We will build an empire of successful youth growing into a large enough establishment to develop new opportunities for The African Community.

Healing Through Words Purpose:

To teach a lifestyle of holistic health and self knowledge through the use of spoken word to inform people of issues going on in the community and devise a plan to address situations that keep African people from moving forward.

Message from Lady Poet; 

Forces come from all directions and they have many different intentions, some forces you encounter are to help you move a head, others you encounter are to test your strenght and loyality, and others are pure evil and if you let them in they will invade your spirit and change your agenda; so let nobody have your power and throw you off of your square.

Message from Honest;

Let me just start off by saying all of your hopes and dreams can come true you just have to put in the work. Dont let anyone bring you down, tell you that you can't or discourage you in anyway. Live it up, Dream big, Keep a smile, and laugh a lot.

Message from JA 4 Real;

Let's remember to "Thank God," everyday for the blessings He's given to us. To wake up everyday is the biggest blessing of all. Let's remember to show love, live love, teach and give love. Spread it to everyone you meet. I recall in my highschool yearbook that people would sign, "You don't know how your smile, and your saying, "Hi," brightened my day."  I smile because I have the joy of the Lord in me. I smile because I am still alive. I smile because He loves me, unconditinally. I smile because I am free, and have a free mind. My thoughts are mine, my ideas, my words and my creativity. I'm blessed to be able to express myself through the gift of poetry.
